Hello, Milena! I just wrote to your site administrator to say how delighted I was to find more people with my family name. I'm now a Fitzgerald (hence, the Fitzlady screen name). But, I was born a Pizzolo. You will most likely hear from my siblings too. My brother, John, sent me the site - - and to my sister Patty Pizzolo, and brother Frank Pizzolo. I don't know how he found it -- but, what fun!
You are lovely! What a beautiful picture of you and your boyfriend. As I said in my other note, It would be fun to exchange photos. Since Pizzolo (with this particular spelling) doesn't seem to be that common a name, do you suppose we could actually trace our family lines back to the point where we would be related? Interesting!

This is Linda's brother John. Attached you'll find a scanned and resized version of my grandfather Giovanni Agostino Pizzolo's birth certificate dated 1872. The original scan is a huge file; I've reduced it to an eighth its size, hoping that I haven't compromised legibility too much. Unfortunately, his name falls precisely on the crease, so you can barely see it, but it's there. Not bad for a 130 year old document!
