Once Upon A Dream

Gabby had to do a presentation in her classroom. She could choose any topic. She picked Stop Motion videos....I guess because she was interested in making movies. She came up with this idea....and did most of the work herself. We helped her with the equipment and editing. She did the artwork. She interviewed some teachers and students to make the animated section of the video. Here is the final product.

I know we are way behind on our blog entries.....all of our holiday fun just totally overwhelmed us. This is a collection of pictures that we put together for memory book purposes that document some of the things that we did during the school break. Sorry these are so late. Wii Dance and Sleepovers....

Got to spend some time in New York City over New Year's day. Had so much fun...but the time was just too short.

We went out sledding for the first time in 2011. The hill was perfect and so was the weather...until we got too cold.

Gillian got these LaLa Loopsey dolls for Christmas. She just loves them....and wants to collect them all, but then again....that's Gilli for you.

What is better than Sledding on the weekend? Sledding on a snow day. We braved the weather and met up with a bunch of other sledding fanatics to use some energy during our unplanned four day weekend.

So....it turns out that Gabby is a bit far sighted. She was having some difficulties with blurring letters at school. She may eventually grow out of it. Until then.....she needs glasses. She picked these out this weekend, and she is totally in LOVE with them. She also wants us to be in LOVE with her in them. I think she is feeling a little anxious about wearing them to school tomorrow. She must have asked me 100 times this weekend, "Mom, do you Love me in my glasses?"
