It was picturesque in the cornfields of Ohio. This first picture encapsulates my memories of living in Ohio when I was very young. I also feel lucky to have gotten a photo of my dad, grandmother, and two aunts all in the same picture. I don't think that I have seen them all together since....1980?
The girls ran all over barefoot like good country girls should. They played on Grandma Darlene's hammock, caught butterflies, collected rocks, and fought with boys...ok - just boy. They were very sad and very tired when it was time to go back to the hotel that night.
