Gilli and Gabby have dance observation day 4 times a year at their dance school. We had the third observation last week. Here is Gillian doing her thing...

Gabby took part in her first science fair. She did a twenty-one day sleep experiment involving different bedtimes...mood and function. She had fun doing it, and she really loved being a part of the science fair. Below are some shots from the event, Gabby with her principal, and some friends.

We visited the Berkshires in MA for a Valentine's getaway last weekend. We stayed near Jiminy Peak. The girls loved the view and the swimming.

It's a little belated....but hey- the love's still good!

We got to spend a lot of time over winter break with the newest member of our extended family...little baby Luke Valentino Cucuzza! He is the cutest...most lovable! We can't wait to see him again!

While the girls were in Staten Island, they managed to have a sleep over at Aunt Lena's house one night, at Aunt Mandy's two nights, and at Grammy's house...three nights in a row. One day at Aunt Lena's, the girls went sled riding, had a tea party, and made Auntie Anne's pretzels. mmmmmm

While in NYC we visited the Intrepid - Air and Space Museum. The girls were able to explore the ship, planes, and helicopters. The Museum was hosting Kids Week, so there were many extra activities and exhibits. The Aircraft carrier was massive. We ventured up into the Captain's deck. The girls were able to sit in the captain's chair. It was really very interesting. Then it was time to go down to see the planes outside....One was cooler than the next. The girls were able to walk through an actual Concord, and they all took turns taking pictures in front of their favorite planes. One other massive plane that we saw was the Lockhead A-12 Blackbird. It is the huge black plane below....that doesn't completely fit into the picture. By the end of the visit, the girls were all tired...cold...and ready to go. It was really fun to see all of those planes up close.

Wow....we actually had a snow day. We moved to a snowy place on purpose because we love snow, and this year has been less than snowy. Finally...today...SNOW! We had a great time making forts...and shoveling/snow blowing. Yesterday, after school, (it was the 100th day of school) we made 100 snowballs.
