Once Upon A Dream

Gabby had pajama day at school. They ate pizza and popcorn....The pajamas were so funny!

Gillian signed up and started the 1000 book kid club in our school district. She was excited and proud to pick her own first bag. She posed with Mrs. Sogoian...her future school librarian!

Gabby had a special celebration at her school last Friday. Her school celebrated it's 60th birthday by having a decade dance. You had to go dressed in garb from your favorite decade. Gabby dressed 70's....wearing one of my dresses that I wore in the 70's...and Gilli went "big hair" 80's! All the kids looked so great. The party was a big success.

This activity was awesome! The girls loved it. It would be easy to do without buying a kit. The only component that would be difficult to find is the fairy cookie cutter which was so cute. The kit came with water food color paint, but the girls liked using our food color pens better.

Gillian is turning three in less than two weeks. She got an early birthday gift today...because we didn't have any place to hide it. This was one of her favorite toys at Tumbling Tykes. Gilli and Gabby raced each other all afternoon. Gillian was very appreciative....she was so lovey today...She kept making comments like...."mom, I just love my family"....awwwwwww!!!!!

Gabby was talking on the phone to her friend, Gianna, and she was looking so grown up.

Uncle Tim came up to visit for Gillian's birthday party, and a little bit of bathroom demo...etc. He requested spice cake with cream cheese frosting.....Happy Birthday, Uncle Timmy.

We had a delicious mother's day breakfast on Sunday before Lena, Tony, and Bella had to go back home. Aunt Mandy and Grammy were able to stay for most of the day. We went to lunch at the Melting Pot...It was yummy.

This is a classic. You have proabably seen it, but here it is again! ENJOY...I always do!

We celebrated Gillian's 3rd birthday last weekend. She will be three on Thursday. She had fun celebrating with many of her cousins and a few friends.

We can't believe that our BABY turned three years old today. We celebrated with friends and family last weekend. It was a very busy...but normal Thursday....in the Pizzolo family. We woke up early, and had lots of phone calls. Aunt Lena called...and today is her birthday, too! Gilli got to do a lot of fun stuff with mom....and dad around the house.

Madalyn came over to play earlier in the week. It is so nice to have friends in the neighborhood.

We had our last dance classes this week. The next two weeks are rehearsals....and then the recital. It was a great year. Gabby learned a ton!

This gorgeous rainbow appeared on Gillian's birthday! What a great gift!

Gabby had her first singing lesson with Ms. Delray. She had a great time. As you can see from the pictures....it was very lively.

Here are a couple shots of Gillian after she opened some gifts that she got in the mail. She received a gardening set, hats, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk from Grandpa Mike, Grandma Cathy, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Lauren. Meme and Papa sent the final pieces for the dollhouse that the girls received last Christmas. There is a kit that includes all the Christmas decorations for the dollhouse including real lights, snow, and trees. There is also a swimming pool and roof for the mansion. Thanks so much! Gabby went to her friend Cyrus' birthday party last week. He is in her kindergarten class. She played mini golf for the first time. She ran around with a bunch of her school friends...including Dennis...who is posing in the picture below.

We were in Staten Island this weekend for Isabella's 3rd birthday. She had an Ariel party. There was a lot of crazy face painting going on...including Grandma Wiggins! The girls had so much fun...it was like a huge girl party! We saw lots of friends from Staten Island...and our cousins, Jaclyn and Kira. Thanks for all the fun!

It is that time of the year again. We are consumed by end of the year productions. We have dance recitals and gymnastics showes coming up next weekend, so we have been attending a lot of rehearsals. Gabby was excited that she graduated from pig buns to one big bun in the back. Gillian was just happy to dance. Nick Bruel, author of BOING, Bad Kitty, and Who is Melvin Bubble, came to Gabby's school today for a presentation and book signing. He was very entertaining and had some great ideas for the children about how to start brainstorming for writing.

Gillian went to the allergist today to have a skin test for tree nuts and peanuts. It was negative. She ate a rice cake with peanut butter on it when she got home. She didn't develop any reaction/hives. Gabby is getting a blood test and then another skin test. If they both come back negative again, she will be giving peanut butter at the doctor's office. We are hoping for another great outcome.

We planted, mulched, and weeded all weekend. It was a good excuse to make mud pies. The girls planted flowers in some little boxes to go around their swingset. They are very excited to water them with their little watering cans. Let's see who has a green thumb.

We had some friends come over after church for a little end of the year get together. The kids played lots of games outside....and had fun eating pizza and ice cream/popsicles.

We had a really nice relaxing weekend around home. We spent time at playgrounds...planting (take a look at our little sunflowers)...more have sprouted since this picture. The girls got to play outside all weekend....and even took a little dip. They must have grown like weeds over the winter because this little pool is smaller than ever. Gillian has been playing so hard that she fell asleep this morning on the couch. She wasn't sick and this is definitely not the norm.
