Once Upon A Dream

We went shopping in New Jersey today. The girls had a great time. Here are some of the highlights of the day. Gillian helping mommy pick out clothes. She found a lot at Gymboree!

Gabriella rode the carousel inside the mall....

Gabby found a new and interesting store.....(it was strange to her).

Gillian was glad to be home and playing in her play gym.

We are so glad that you made it out of the Twin Towers five years ago. If God hadn't kept you safe, we may not be here now. You are our hero.

September 5.....
We had a great time joking around and putting on concerts and plays. Then we had ice cream.

September 6.....
Great Gram got a surprise visit from two of her biggest fans. Then we met Kailey as she got off her bus from school. She started Kindergarten this year. Since she had no homework, we had a bunch of bubble fun.....Take a look!

September 7.....
The girls had a chance to visit the site where Meme and Papa are building their new house. Then we played at the park down the street from the site. Afterwards there was plenty of Play Doh fun and chocolate chip cookie baking....

September 8.....
We had a great day playing with the Varrati kids! For those of you who don't know...Michael and Sophia are Meghan and Frank's children. Meghan is mommy's best friend from childhood and forever...Gabby went to the hometown festival with Meme and Papa.

September 9.....
The girls got to go to Kailey's 6th birthday party! They had a blast playing with all the cousins and relatives. Kailey was an extra special birthday girl. She was such a loving big cousin....even when Gabby was blowing out her birthday candles...Gabby has a fascination with yellow cars, and it just happens that Aunt Nicole has one. We were so happy to get a bunch of shots with all five cousins....Chris, Keenan, Kailey, Gabriella, and Gillian....and Conner should be here around January (Uncle Ralph and Aunt Brandi are expecting!)

September 10.....
Meme and Papa have been married for 20 years this past July 12th. We had a small get together/dinner with the family to celebrate. This July 12th was also Grammy and Grampy's 20th anniversary and mommy and daddy's 9th! Congratulations to all!

It is feeling a little like Fall outside! Nice warm sweaters and fun with friends.....These pictures are for Grammy....who is down in Puerto Rico.

Hi Everyone!
Gillian and Gabby had fun today rolling around the living room. I haven't gotten any action shots yet, but I think I will need the baby gates soon. I can't believe that Gillian is becoming mobile already. I feel like the baby phase is already fading away. Isn't it supposed to be longer than four months. We are just trying to enjoy every minute of this. Here are some shots of the girls this morning....

The girls got a surprise package in the mail today from Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Mike. They loved the gifts. Gabby was going crazy for the magnetic dress up dolls, and Gillian smothered this little pink blanket toy with slobber before falling asleep. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Gabby decided to have a sleepover at Aunt Amanda's house, but Gillian had to stay home and have a mohawk...something is not fair!

Gillian turned 4 months old today! We can't believe it. She is such a sweet baby with a wonderful temperament. She loves to smile, laugh, roll around, play and watch her big sister. Gabby can really get her laughing hard. She is currently doing her best to sit up unassisted. Aunt Amanda took some pictures of Gillian this morning. She had three outfit changes in less than an hour. Gillian was wiped out and fell asleep right after the shoot. The stuffed animals in these pictures were gifts from Aunt Cheri and Grandma Barb for Gillian's dedication. If anyone wants specific shots or sizes ordered from this set of pictures, let us know.....we do requests.

We have been having very rainy weather that makes it difficult for us to go out and have fun. We decided to take it easy today. Gillian slept (a couple times), and Gabby used her princess paints that Aunt Lena and Uncle Tony got her on her last birthday. We also got a package in the mail from California....wild and ferocious animals! Thanks Uncle Tony, Aunt Pat, and Joe!

Gabby started gymnastics school today. She previewed the class, and she loved it. She will be going on Thursdays. The class was really fun for her. The head coach said that Gabby is very smart and shows a lot of natural talent and ability for gymnastics. We were a little intimidated by her. She seemed a little Bela Karoli-ish? We were so intimidated that we were afraid to take pictures at the gym. So, here are some pictures of three amigos from later in the day.

After church today, Dave and Gabby blew up the Bonzai Slide and had one last summer swim session. Of course...we had already packed away the swimming suits, but shorts worked just fine. This may be our last warm day in the 80 degree weather.

Grammy came back from Peurto Rico! Everyone was so happy to have her back. Thanks for the gift, Luna! Gabby slept over at Grammy's.

Our cousin Isabella came over for some fun today. We had a great time! Aren't we cute together!

We went to the park at Miller Field today. It was a cool breezy day. Everyone had a great time....including Aunt Mandy who wouldn't let me put any of her pictures on here...I did manage to sneak one of her holding Gabby on the monkey bars. Gabby has almost mastered this completely....She is quite the monkey! Gillian is just longing for the day that she doesn't have to sit in the stroller and chew her toys anymore.

We went to our annual Laurie Berkner concert...This was the third one for Gabby and second for Gillian if you count the one where she was in the belly last year. The girls had a great time. Sorry for the quality of the pictures. We had to sneak these shots because no cameras were allowed. If you aren't familiar with Laurie Berkner, she has a song "This Hat", and Gabby chose to wear her Sleeping Beauty Tiara. Dave wore a birthday hat, and Laurie totally called it out when she saw it. Gabby was really excited that Laurie saw our hats. She also does a song called, "Pig on her Head". Everyone puts different animals on their heads. Gillian used her Zebra!

Gillian was content this morning playing peek a boo....Gianna came over for a playdate today. Gabby had all of her Barbies out....It has become quite the collection. The girls had a great time making a big mess.

Meme and Papa stopped at our house last night on their way up to Massachusettes for Aunty La's wedding. We are meeting them up there tomorrow because Gabby had gymnastics this afternoon, and she didn't want to miss it. Here is Gillian in a new outfit that Meghan, Frank, Sophia and Michael Varrati gave to her. So cute!
