Once Upon A Dream

Jack and Gillian playing wii after school last Friday....

Gabby recently had one of her scout friends over to conduct some science experitments that would help them to earn a badge/Try It. They made their own bubble solution (which produced only one bubble). They did a couple experiments involving balloons, water, and static electricity. They made a sugar solution that grows crystals that you can observe at home with your own magnifying glass.....and they tried a few other very interesting small experiments. Most went really well....especially the secret messages that they wrote with lemon juice, dried, and exposed to a lightbulb to reveal the message. Pretty interesting stuff....

Usually when Camryn comes over...we end up dressing up, dancing, and watching dance videos....to get warmed up (or just plain hyper) for dance class. It is ALWAYS entertaining....

So what if we watched the super bowl...a bit but mostly did our nails....and other girly things...etc. It WAS FUN!

Gabby has been going to Les Mis practice and really making a lot of new friends and having the time of her life. Here are some shots with some of her very talented/funny/loveable cast mates...

A great book series....like Eye Spy....Gillian is obsessed with these right now...and we have to take them all out of the library.....

So....the snow is piled pretty high, but the storm wasn't as bad as we thought that it would be....or that they predicted.

Gillian makes these crazy fashion designs on a daily basis, but Gabby truely had an unique experience this morning. She went to bed with wet hair, and she must have slept on her face because this is what her hair looked like.....and I promise....none of this is static!
